We are a boutique securities brokerage.
We (electronically) publish securities research product on a daily basis, and require a multi-talented staffer who can copy-edit and format raw analyst product (Word text and Excel figures) into finished product, as well help us handle a high volume of changes to our distribution/customer lists. We currently generate our published PDFs from a variety of Word templates but are open to moving to a more sophisticated desktop publishing platform if the right person comes in to champion the transition.
We would like someone with relevant experience, a cheerful and flexible attitude, and an authentic interest in the world of finance. This is a mission critical position and requires someone with no problem with consistent attendance and an early start time (7:30 AM in midtown Manhattan).
There is definite opportunity for advancement into a junior professional research role for someone who succeeds in the specified responsibilities for a considerable period of time, but we'd be equally happy with someone with a permanent interest in this particular set of duties.
payscale: $40k - $50k DOE, plus sizable bonus opportunity
