Make my portfolio pretty. (Wordpress, alt. CMS, static JS+HTML)
March 18, 2015 2:16 PM

I'm setting up a pretty simple portfolio site.

As of now the only thing I've 99% decided is that I want to use Photoswipe for image display. The current project owner is actually maintaining it, and as far as I can see it's the fastest, simplest, least-buggy lightbox type solution I've seen.

Aside from that, it can be:
- Custom WP theme
- 2015 child-theme
- Handcoded HTML using whatever framework is convenient and maintained.
- Alternative CMS or static generator (Stacey, Jekyll, etc.)

I'm looking for:
- Simple
- Dark
- Big-ass pictures
- Attention to type
- Mobile first

Remote is fine, though NYC metro area would be great.
Teams of designer/coder are fine.

Clarifying questions are super welcome.

I'm not looking to lowball anyone, and prefer a fair rate for ample experience.
