JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an unusually smart and aggressive Strategy Consultants to join our team in San Francisco and Boston. The right candidates will have a strong interest in and understanding of technology and the IT industry, as well as world class organizational, project management, problem solving and analysis skills.

We are a young firm with minimal hierarchy and our professionals and professors are extremely accessible and intimately acquainted. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. 2+ years work experience as a strategy consultant, product development consultant, or product manager at a top tier management consulting firm or technology/software company.

2. Technical undergraduate degree preferred, MBA from top tier management program, impressive academic record.

3. Strong interest in and understanding of technology and the IT industry in areas such as hardware systems, semiconductors, operating systems, enterprise systems integration and solutions, etc…

4. Problem Solving and Analysis skills - total comfort with the myriad of sources for marketing and financial data; mastery of Excel; ability to rapidly gather, structure, and present data analysis; ability to create hypothesis for problem solutions and structure analysis to support those hypothesis.

5. World class organizational skills, project management skills, and self-motivated follow through. Ability to manage a team of reports AND peers to complete a project.

6. Outstanding relationship-building skills, ability to interface with clients at an executive level, ability to interview client subject matter experts to obtain insight while maintaining sensitivity to relationships.

7. Great verbal and written communication skills, mastery of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and other communications media.

1. 2-4 years work experience out of college. Preferably some work experience as a financial analyst or consultant at a top tier investment bank or strategy consulting organization.

2. Undergraduate education: technical undergraduate degree at a top 20 university with an impressive academic record.

3. Strong interest in and understanding of technology and the IT industry in areas such as hardware systems, semiconductors, operating systems, applications for enterprises, systems integration and solutions, etc…Specific enterprise applications deployment experience a plus.

4. Problem Solving and Analysis skills - total comfort with complex problem solving, ability to create hypothesis for problem solutions and structure analysis to support those hypothesis, ability to rapidly gather, structure, and present data analysis, mastery of Excel.

5. World class organizational skills, project management skills, and self-motivated follow through. Ability to manage up, making delegation and completion extremely efficient.

6. Outstanding relationship-building skills, ability to interface with clients at an executive level if necessary, ability to interview client subject matter experts to obtain insight while maintaining sensitivity to relationships.

7. Great verbal and written communication skills, mastery of PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
