Need event signup PHP website revamp
December 25, 2012 5:19 PM

I volunteer for a non-profit organisation, a local reading/book convention. We're looking to consolidate our ancient sign-up software so that if nothing else we don't have to edit code just to get it to work. (Goodness.) We use MySQL and CakePHP to manage the site... more or less.

At minimum, I'm looking for a moderately experienced PHP/MySQL developer to go through and clean up our patchwork website so that we can tinker with it more freely.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone(s) to do a ground-up revamp of the website. Design is way less important than functionality; I can tinker with the layout/CSS myself, no sweat. (So long as IDs and classes are used so that I can hook the CSS to things, all is well.)

Ping me for more details if you're both interested and capable. I am only looking for PHP/MySQL input at this time, unless you can make a really good argument for using something else.
