Seeking submissions for new magazine.
September 28, 2011 11:52 AM

I'm starting a magazine.

It's called NY_____. It publishes very short fiction, very short creative nonfiction (500 words or less), poetry under 40 lines, and photography and art. Each issue will focus on a different aspect of life in NYC: the first issue's theme is "apartments." Thus, I'm looking for submissions that touch on that topic (it's fairly loose, but not so loose that "the person in this story has lived in an apartment once in his life" will cut it).

I can't pay cash this round. I can give a free copy of the magazine, of course, which will be a nice, glossy publication. I can invite you to the launch event. And hopefully, if this thing grows, next round I can pay money.

More information can be found on the website: ny-underscore.com

payscale: a copy of the magazine.
job type: volunteer
