Medical Science Liaison - Cardiovascular

Our client is a global pharmaceutical and health care leader, seeking qualified individuals with expertise in cardiovascular science. As a member of the Medical & Scientific Affairs team, you will work with key opinion leaders at medical and research institutions across Quebec. Your goal will be to establish mutually beneficial relationships for the advancement of "business through science".
You will be responsible for sourcing and preliminary evaluation of research proposals, and coordinating a scientific program of regional symposia and CHE meetings to support products in the cardiovascular portfolio.
You will have an important role in managing the communication and flow of information among internal stakeholders, and external opinion leaders and agencies to ensure that key marketing messages are delivered in a credible scientific setting.
Your expertise in cardiovascular science will allow you to develop an in-depth understanding of research related to the company's products and provide support to key internal stakeholders by giving updates on research activities, summaries of scientific meetings, input into abstracts/manuscripts, slide kits, selection of trial sites and providing scientific expertise, as required.
You will help to educate the sales force by conducting hands-on training in small groups, or one-on-one, and preparing Q&A documents that directly address customer questions.
The successful candidate will be bilingual (French/English), hold a PhD or MD degree, and will have published on cardiovascular science in peer reviewed journals. You should be a team player with excellent communications skills and a business-oriented mindset. Previous experience with the Pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred.
payscale: Commensurate with experience
