Applescript/Automator help needed

My clinic is looking for someone to come up with an Automator routine +/- Applescript thingy that will do the following with minimal intervention:
-Extract a table of data from an XML file and an HTML file.
-Match rows in the two tables based on an index field.
-Output a table (HTML, CSV, XLS, whatever) that displays which rows from the HTML file are present in the XML file and which are not.
