Front-end Developer
October 11, 2014 8:30 AM
Just wrapping up a front-end development course through Thinkful but find I'm outstripping the material quickly. HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery/AJAX/all that stuff--working on learning Angular on my own right now. Getting comfortable with Git, been living on the command line generally for years and years. I'm particularly interested in mobile/responsive web, mostly because I'm a heavy Android user.
Coding itself isn't new to me, I've been writing code since the mid-90s, but this is the first time I've really been making something productive of it. I know there's a lot I don't know; I don't need hand-holding, just a team where I can get pointed in the right direction once in awhile and get good feedback along the way.
I'm not sure how many people actually look here, but I figured hey, why not--if someone wants to see my GitHub so far, MeMail me. I'd be available beginning of January to relocate for the right opportunity, but could do remote or local much sooner.
