Frontend Web developer/architect looking for freelance work
April 14, 2014 10:08 PM

I've been doing frontend web development and object-oriented programing for 15 years. Lately I've been specializing in Javascript architecture. I'll use the trendy new frameworks like Angular or (ugh) Backbone if you really need me to, but what I specialize in is custom solutions and writing my own frameworks that get the job done without a ton of needless overhead. I've seen people trip over their feet trying to use the gimmicky frameworks because they heard they "should," then done it better in literally 1/10th of the time. If you think Backbone is awful too we'll probably get along.

Oh an if you just need html and css and simple jquery I can do that too. I'm also good with leading teams and mentoring developers who don't necessarily specialize in frontend.

I'm currently working on posting details of my custom framework, Nagisa.

I'm mostly looking to "moonlight" right now. Historically I'm good with pacing myself and delivering on-time when working outside of "office" hours.
