Mac I.T. firm looking for a helping hand
February 28, 2012 6:48 AM

Are you a Mac genius with incredible people skills and crafty troubleshooting abilities? Are you the one your friends turn to for help with their Macs? When you don't know the answer, are you able to admit it (and then figure it out)?

Let's chat! We're a small Mac consultancy catering to art / media / graphic design / film / small business clients throughout New York City (with an emphasis on West Chelsea).

We're looking for a very part-time assistant to take on service calls throughout the city. Perhaps you're a student looking for some extra income, a freelancer with a little extra time on your hands, or already a Mac tech looking to fill some gaps in your schedule with our clients. It's an ideal position for someone with a flexible schedule. This is a 1099 position.

If you think you'd enjoy running around town and meeting lots of crazy creative people with wide-ranging tech issues, send a cover letter and a résumé (PDFs only, please). Let me know about tech experience and your areas of expertise (networking? web design? pro video?), if any. We're a small firm, so what we're really looking for is a Mac-centric generalist (with the ability to grasp new concepts / do the appropriate research quickly and accurately) who can present a friendly, confident face and communicate clearly with our clients, whether their tech issues are tiny or huge.

Nick Burns (your company's computer guy) need not apply.
